9th-11th grade students for the 2021-22 school year will be issued a school owned device for use during the school year and must return the device in May of 2022. All 9th-11th grade students will be issued a Chromebook for the 2021-22 school year but they must fill out the Device Agreement Form first. All students issued a device are expected to use their issued device while at Williston High School for schoolwork throughout the day and away from school property.

Additional devices are also available to Seniors and distributed on a first come, first served basis. Senior students who would like to use a school issue device must complete the Device Agreement Form. Completion of the agreement form does not ensure a device. If a student failed to return their school issued device from the previous school year or have not payed for damages to their previous device they will not be issued a device for the 2021-22 school year until all fees have been submitted.

If your student is in grade 12 and you prefer to purchase a device or were not able to get a school issued device, the WBSD #7s Information Services Department recommends the Lenovo 300e. If you choose not to purchase this device it is strongly recommended that you select a Chromebook that has a touchscreen. While a Chromebook will continue to operate after the auto update expiration there may be some instances where security, browser features and OS updates cannot be guaranteed.
