Good morning WBSD7:
After reviewing the weather forecast, and receiving reports from staff who have driven Williston area roads, it has been determined that freezing rain is contributing to unsafe road conditions. I have made the decision to move to an asynchronous virtual learning model today, Tuesday, December 13th. What this means is there will be no in-person school for students and staff (other than maintenance personnel responsible for snow removal). Teachers will utilize either Google Classroom or ParentSquare to communicate student assignments and expectations for Tuesday, December 13th. I will continue to monitor this weather system as it moves through our community, and will make decisions on a day-to-day basis.
All practices and games, and other school related activities have been canceled for Tuesday, 12/13/2022 as well.
Staff, your administration will be communicating with you separately.
Parents, your school administration and teachers will be communicating separately with you via ParentSquare.
We will reassess the situation and send out a message by 4:00 p.m. today.
There are more details in your email, and on our District Website.
Stay safe,
Dr. Faidley
